Back-end Developer, Java Focus

This position requires 2 people, one full-time and one part-time Responsibilities ž Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code ž Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications ž Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic ž Implementation of security and data protection ž Integration of data storage solutions which may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc. ž Facilitate a leadership role on features and projects if needed.

At least 8 years of software development experience with expertise in Java ž A bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree ž Good knowledge of Java Core, OOP, Design Pattern ž Good/Basic understanding about multi-threading ž Strong experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data) ž Experience with building and maintaining RESTful APIs and ORM (Hibernate or EclipseLink) ž Experience with Maven build and testing frameworks like Junit 5 and Mockito ž Experience with relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as optimizing SQL queries ž Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud deployment technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK or Loki, and Keycloak (OAuth2, OpenID Connect) ž Experience with code quality tools such as SonarQube ž Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams ž Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
