- Cargo Management _ Pre shipment: Coordinate with vendor and customer in receiving bookings via email (manual booking) or vendor podium system (e-booking) Check PO details in ICS and acknowledge shipping order (SO) in ICS within 24 hours. Prepare loading plan (both CY and CFS) as per Standard operation procedure (SOP) and update shipping plan in ICS systems – sending Pre-advice to consignee and get their approval. Place booking with consignee’s nominated carrier (Ocean/Air) as per consignee allocation/MQC, manage the volume % shared between carriers as per consignee’s instructions /allocation. Update carrier booking (CBK) in system timely for CBK status visibility. Release bookings to vendors as per approved shipping plan Receive shipping instructions from vendors and submit shipping instruction to carrier, prepare FCR/ Bill of lading. Solve any arising issues related to shipments. Daily reports on space and equipment status to customer if requested - Cargo Management _ Post shipment: Receive and check documents submitted by vendors through email/system before sending to consignee or uploading in system. Send Post advice to customer after cargo on board, follow up with carrier and keep customers updated if any changes on the sailing schedule/ETD/ETA. Co-ordinate with vendor and carrier to get BL (Original, SWB, surrendered BL) Co-ordinate with AR-AP team to clear vendors’ outstanding invoices 14days and escalate to customers if needed. Record and manage performance of vendors and carrier update reports as requested by customers and supervisors. Handle daily correspondence (emails/phone calls) from shippers and consignees, solve arising problems after shipment on board, escalate issues to consignee when needed. - Vendor Management: Arrange vendor workshop Offer vendor training on vendor podium (directly or virtually) and support/follow up after the training. Manage vendor to follow customer SOP and OLL process in booking submission, SI/VGM/Document submission, CFS cargo process… Manage vendor to complete payment of service fee timely, escalate to CCP office/LCSV for delayed payment or any service fee related issue - Carrier Management: Manage carrier space release as per customer MQC and space commitment/SOP. Record and report to customer about carrier service level: booking release, equipment status, Document, customer service… - Reporting: Update customer and internal report timely and properly. Timely escalate issue to LCSV and team leader for support. - Upselling service: CHB, trucking, import-export, VAS. - Handle other tasks assigned by team leader or Manager.
- Bachelor’s Degree holder with major in Logistics/International Supply Chain Management Service/ International Business/Foreign Trade. - Have at least 1 year of experience for the position being recruited. - Knowledge: Shipping and Logistics Import-Export process Customs process Document (BL/FCR) in international trade ISCMS product (workflow, process, tariff, CFS…) Process related to AR management Process of credit application Tax rules related to VAT invoice issuance ISCMS product (workflow, process, tariff…) ISF 10+2 process ISCMS product (workflow, process, tariff…) CHB, trucking, import-export, VAS - Skills: System/PC Sofware: MS office, Outlook, Teams, ICS, IPS, ICM, Vendor Podium, My Podium Good communication skill, customer focused, achievement driven, teamwork and able to work under pressure. Good command of written/ spoken English will be an advantage.
